Cutwood Joinery embarked on a transformative journey to rejuvenate a charming farmhouse and its outbuildings.In the summer of 2024, we meticulously planned and executed the farmhouse & outbuilding window & door renovation project, preserving the authentic character while ensuring modern functionality.

Our approach involved custom fabricating the farmhouse windows and numerous outhouse windows, along with double barn doors for the outbuilding, maintaining the property’s historic charm.

Our team selected White UPVC with Georgian bars for the double glazed outbuilding windows, preserving the heritage while providing improved insulation and durability. On-site, we crafted the double barn doors using tongue and groove red pinewood, ensuring robustness and aesthetic alignment. The farmhouse windows were precisely mastic sealed to accommodate uneven stone surrounds, enhancing insulation and visual appeal.
